OWL Members Reach EMT Training Milestone

Becoming an EMT takes more than passing a test—it requires dedication, discipline, and a commitment to serving others. The students of the Spring 2026 EMT Class recently demonstrated all three by successfully completing their Psychomotor Test, an important step toward earning their EMT certification.

Hosted at OWL Station 2, the course brought together aspiring EMTs from the Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department, Dale City Volunteer Fire Department, and Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire Department. Among those celebrating this accomplishment are OWL members Aryan Badu, Matthew Dobbins, and Cephas Wilson-Bahun (not pictured).

Over the course of two months, students dedicated themselves to intensive training, attending classes two evenings each week and spending Saturdays developing the hands-on skills required to provide emergency medical care. Through classroom instruction, practical exercises, and skills evaluations, they built the knowledge and confidence needed to respond to medical emergencies.

We commend all of the students for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to public service. Congratulations to Aryan, Matthew, Cephas, and the entire Spring 2026 class on this significant achievement. We wish them the very best as they prepare for the NREMT exam and look forward to seeing them continue their EMS careers.
