According to our historical records, the planning for a third OWL station started in 1969. Around this time, the Lake Ridge area was becoming more developed, and a need for another station to provide more efficient services was evident.
Station 14 was dedicated on July 20, 1980. Then, in the fall of 1991, an addition/renovation was completed. A re-dedication of the Station was held in December of 1994.
Station 14 is staffed by paid personnel from the PWC FRS. They work a 56-hour week. The station is home to 2 engines (1 is a reserve unit), a ladder truck, a brush truck, a boat, and a medic unit.
Station 14 is located at 12400 Hedges Run Drive in Lake Ridge, VA.
