MVU 512

Mobile Ventilation Unit 512 (formerly MVU 514) – Ford F-450 chassis with a 6.9L-320 HP, 5-speed automatic diesel engine. The fan was manufactured by SuperVAC and is powered by a Subaru aircraft engine that uses high octane gasoline. At full speed, the fan can move 250,000 cubic feet of air per minute. The fan can be elevated approximately 16 feet from the ground, it can rotate 360 degrees as well as be titled up and down. Aluminum wheels, Whelen LED light bar, Super Vac SVU-50 250,000 cfom vent fan mounted on flat bed unit. OWL VFD and Dale City VFD worked together to design the unit and shared the cost.
