Celebrating Lead EMT Will Lam’s Remarkable Year of Growth and Service
It’s been an incredibly busy—and impressive—year for EMT Will Lam, whose dedication to training, professional development, and service has made him one of OWL’s standout rising leaders.
Will recently completed the Prince William County Fire & Rescue System Operational Medical Director (OMD) requirements to serve as an endorsed provider, as well as OWL’s internal requirements to staff as a Lead EMT.
His passion for emergency medicine took root early. “From a young age, I’ve been surrounded by several medical professionals in my family,” he shared. “This sparked my interest in the medical field and fire service.”
Will joined OWL as a Junior Member in April 2024 and transitioned to Probationary Member after turning 18 in July 2024. Just a few months later—in December 2024—he completed his training to staff as an Ambulance Driver, demonstrating impressive commitment and momentum throughout the year.
Although Will is taking a short break from volunteering, he already has his sights set on what comes next. When he returns to active status, he hopes to become an Ambulance Driver Trainer and ultimately a Field Training Officer (FTO).
Please join us in congratulating Lead EMT Will Lam on his achievements and bright future ahead. OWL is proud to support and celebrate members like Will who continually strive for excellence and service to our community.
