Celebrating Community and Service at OWL VFD’s Annual Open House

Each year, the OWL Volunteer Fire Department opens its doors to the community not only to showcase the incredible work our volunteers do, but to strengthen the bond between our department and the families, neighbors, and supporters we proudly serve.

This year’s Open House was a true celebration of community, service, and safety. From exciting demonstrations and firetruck tours to family-friendly activities and safety education, the day was filled with energy, learning, and connection. It was an honor to welcome so many smiling faces—longtime supporters and first-time visitors alike.

OWL VFD continues to thrive because of you—our incredible community. Your support fuels our mission and helps us grow stronger each year. Whether you attended the open house, volunteer your time, or simply wave at us when we pass by, your presence matters. We are grateful.

Why OWL VFD Matters

Behind every siren and every response is a team of dedicated volunteers who are ready 24/7 to protect lives and property in our area. OWL VFD plays a vital role in:

  • Emergency Response – We respond to fires, accidents, medical emergencies, and more, often being the first on the scene in critical moments.
  •  Education & Outreach – We’re committed to fire prevention, safety education, and empowering our community to stay safe and prepared.
  •  Community Connection – Events like the Open House foster trust and partnership, building a stronger and more resilient community.

As we reflect on another successful open house, we look forward to continuing our mission – driven by service, backed by the strength of our volunteers, and supported by an amazing community.

From all of us at OWL VFD, thank you for standing with us. We’re proud to serve you.
