Four OWL Members Complete EMT Class and Take Next Step Toward Certification
Congratulations to Jocelyn Diaz, Jeremy Jarvis, Maria Perez Mejias, and Katelyn Stradling on reaching an exciting milestone in their certification journey!
Earlier this month, these four dedicated OWL members successfully completed the EMT class hosted by the Prince William County Fire & Rescue System at the Public Safety Training Academy in Nokesville. This intensive course is a major step in training as a first responder and provides foundational skills in basic life support (BLS).
We’re proud to share that all four members passed the Virginia State psychomotor competency exam, which is a required component of the program. This achievement demonstrates their readiness to perform life-saving interventions in the field.
Next up: each member will take the National Registry EMT (NREMT) written exam—the final step toward earning their Virginia State EMT-B certification.
We celebrate their hard work and wish them the best of luck as they continue their path in emergency medical services. Their commitment strengthens the future of OWL and the safety of our community!
