OWL Remembers Life Member John Neyhouse
Despite the risks, everyday Firefighters answer the community’s call for help. In recognition of January being Firefighter Cancer Awareness Month, the OWL VFD honors the memory of Life Member John Neyhouse. Firefighter Neyhouse responded to the Pentagon on 9/11. In August 2019, almost 18 years after the call, he lost his battle with 9/11-related cancer. In recognition of his service, he was added to the National Fallen Firefighter’s Memorial in 2022.
