OWL Responds to an Apartment Fire

March 13 – This afternoon OWL VFD units were dispatched to a Structure Fire at an apartment complex in Woodbridge. They arrived to find smoke showing and quickly determined that the source was in the kitchen on top of the stove. The fire was controlled, and units ventilated the building to remove the smoke. Units on the call included Ambulance 502B, Engine 502B, Rescue 502, Engine 512, Battalion Chief 506 and Safety 506 along with units from Dale City Volunteer Fire Department, Prince William County Fire & Rescue System and Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.
