OWL Appoints Peter Langone to Fire Captain

OWL Department Chief Wayne Haight proudly appointed Peter Langone to the rank of Fire Captain. This well-earned promotion recognizes Captain Langone’s leadership, dedication, and continued commitment to serving both the department and the community.

Since joining OWL in 2022, Captain Langone has brought with him years of volunteer fire and rescue experience. From the very beginning, he quickly became an active and respected leader within the department, stepping into key leadership roles and helping support the mission of OWL through both mentorship and service.

Captain Langone’s positive attitude, professionalism, and team-first mindset have made a lasting impact on fellow members. His leadership style encourages growth, teamwork, and confidence, and many members look to him for guidance as they continue developing their fire and rescue skills.
