Rising to New Heights: Firefighter/EMT Rich Lawson Achieves Truck/Tower Certification
OWL VFD proudly congratulates Firefighter/EMT Rich Lawson on recently earning the required certifications and completing training to staff as a Truck/Tower Firefighter. This achievement adds to an already impressive list of accomplishments and reflects his continued commitment to professional growth and operational excellence.
Firefighter/EMT Lawson joined OWL in February 2021 and quickly distinguished himself by graduating top of the class in the Fall 2021 Prince William County Fire & Rescue System (PWC FRS) Volunteer Fire Recruit Class.
In addition to his Truck/Tower qualifications, Firefighter/EMT Lawson holds Virginia State EMT-Basic and National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) certifications and is a PWC FRS Operational Medical Director Endorsed Provider. He is also certified to serve as a Driver Pump Operator (DPO) on the Engine and as an Ambulance Driver, further strengthening OWL’s operational capabilities.
Firefighter/EMT Lawson’s leadership and dedication have made him a valuable asset to the department. He is frequently seen at the stations mentoring and training new members, sharing his knowledge and experience to help others succeed.
