OWL Celebrates the Graduation of Volunteer Recruit Class 25189
OWL Volunteer Fire Department is proud to celebrate the graduation of the Prince William County Fire & Rescue System’s (PWC FRS) Volunteer Recruit Class 25189, marking a significant milestone in their journey to becoming volunteer firefighters.
Among the proud graduates were OWL members Diamante Byrne and Christopher Cotter, who received their yellow firefighter helmets from OWL Chief Wayne Haight—a proud moment for our department.
PWC FRS Executive Committee Chairman Chief Jerry Deem (Yorkshire VFD) addressed the graduates, recognizing their commitment and sacrifice. He also expressed heartfelt appreciation to the families and friends who supported the recruits through the demanding training schedule.
Representing the Prince William Chamber of Commerce, OWL President Todd Hewitt presented the class Leadership Award—an honor voted on by the recruits themselves.
Congratulations to all of the graduates of Class 25189! We welcome the county’s newest volunteer firefighters and look forward to seeing the impact they will have on our community.
