Wheels & Waves: Josh Hill Expands His Role at OWL VFD

OWL VFD proudly celebrates Josh Hill for completing all requirements to become an Ambulance Driver!

To achieve this milestone, members undergo Emergency Vehicle Driver Training (EVDT) Certifications I and II, followed by hands-on instruction with one of our experienced driver trainers. After successfully passing a written exam and a practical driving evaluation, they’re cleared to operate and staff an Ambulance or Medic unit — a vital role in our emergency response capabilities.

Josh joined OWL in September 2022 and has been a dedicated and active member ever since. Beyond his contributions on land, he has played an important role in OWL’s Marine Division. In July 2024, he completed the training to become an Operator for Boat 512, expanding his ability to serve both on the water and the road.
