OWL Responds to Truck Fire at Virginia Paving Company

Units were dispatched to investigate smoke near the Vulcan Materials Rock Quarry. Upon arriving in the area, crews discovered two trucks on fire at the Virginia Paving Company, which is adjacent to the rock quarry. The crews quickly extinguished the fire. Had a concerned citizen not reported seeing the smoke, trucks parked nearby and the surrounding woods may have also caught fire.
