Horner Road – Structure Fire

While returning to the station, Ambulance 502 saw smoke coming from a vacant home on Horner Road. The crew reported the fire. Units were dispatched to the 2-story home with fire at the rear of the residence on the second floor. The fire spread and became fully involved forcing firefighters to evacuate. After the exterior attack to knock down the fire, crews were able to re-enter the structure to extinguish the fire.

Units from Dale City Volunteer Fire Department, Prince William County Fire and Rescue System and Fairfax County Fire and Rescue System also responded.
