OWL VFD Responds to Active Violence Incident

April 18 – Woodbridge – This past Friday night (April 15), OWL VFD was dispatched to the Active Violence incident at the carnival in the Gar-Field High School parking lot. Battalion Chief 506, Safety 506 and Rescue Chief 502 responded at approximately 21:30 to assist units from Dale City Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, the PWC Department of Fire and Rescue and PWC Police.

One victim with a gunshot wound was transported by helicopter to Fairfax Hospital. According to reports, the victim is expected to recover.

PWC Detectives are requesting that witnesses of the shooting that may have photos or video leading up to the altercation to please contact police by calling the non-emergency line, 703-792-6500.
